About

Yovanni Del Rio is a mixed media artist. A professional, licensed
tattooer for over 15 years, Del Rio incorporates traditional tattoo
style into illustrations, paintings, and sculptures. Originally from
Puerto Rico he has long been inspired by the natural world and
since settling on Oregon's North Coast, has been inspired by the
region's native plants and wildlife. His photography captures
landscapes and celebrates life through his distinctive, and at times
peculiar, lens. Printmaking, carving, collaging, and apparel design
weave into Del Rio's artistic body of work. In all of his mediums one
is called into presence -- chaos shifts to stillness for an expressive
moment shared from his brain to your body, closet, or wall.
