Little Manzanita

Beginning as an original hand-pulled silkscreen print on Arches archival watercolor paper, this piece evolves through intuitive layers of paint, drawing, and texture. Rather than concealing the print, each new mark builds upon it, allowing fragments of its history to remain visible. The painting moves between bold graphic imagery and loose abstraction, inviting the viewer to discover depth, movement, and unexpected connections within the layered surface.
